This training helps ABA providers understand what documents should be maintained in each member or client file, how to organize them, and what information should be included in authorization-related documentation. Your team will learn how to identify missing forms, track required consents, organize policy acknowledgements, and maintain files that are easier to review when an audit or payer request occurs.
Member and client files should tell a complete story from intake through discharge. When documents are missing, incomplete, unsigned, outdated, or hard to locate, it can create problems during audits, authorization reviews, payer requests, and internal quality checks.
This training is designed to help ABA owners, clinical leaders, administrative staff, and billing teams understand what should be included in a member/client file and how to keep those documents organized.
The focus is not just on having a file, it is on knowing which documents belong in the file, what they should include, and how to keep the file audit-ready over time.
This training is for educational purposes only and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Availity. No real patient data is used during this training. Participants are responsible for complying with HIPAA and applicable payor requirements.
