ABA Therapy

What is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding behavior and learning. By breaking down skills into manageable steps, measuring progress, and systematically reinforcing positive behaviors, ABA therapy helps individuals improve communication, social skills, and overall independence. Recognized by leading healthcare organizations, ABA is widely regarded as one of the most effective treatments for individuals on the autism spectrum and those with related developmental needs.

Our Intake Process

1. Initial Contact

Reach out to our care team via phone or our online contact form to discuss your questions and learn more about the services we offer.

2. Insurance Benefits Verification

Once you’ve submitted your intake forms, we will verify your insurance benefits to give you a clear understanding of coverage and any out-of-pocket costs (copays, coinsurance, and/or deductibles).

3. Consent & Prior Authorization

If you decide to move forward, we’ll securely send you the necessary consent forms. After they’re completed, we’ll request a prior authorization from your insurance provider for ABA services.

4. Assessment

When the authorization is approved, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be assigned to your child’s clinical team. They will conduct a comprehensive assessment to identify strengths, challenges, and specific therapy goals.

5. Therapy Implementation

Once the assessment is complete and all approvals are in place, we will begin scheduling and delivering your child’s customized ABA therapy sessions.

ABA Therapy FAQ

Please reach us at  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children with autism and other developmental delays learn meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors. It focuses on improving communication, social skills, play, daily living activities, and more through individualized programs.

ABA therapy is most commonly used to support children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but it can also help children with developmental delays, ADHD, behavioral concerns, or language delays.

Absolutely! Parent involvement is a key part of ABA therapy. We offer training and ongoing collaboration to help you support your child’s progress at home and in daily life.

While some insurance plans may require a referral or formal autism diagnosis, you can contact us directly and we’ll help you navigate the process from referral to intake.

Yes! We are in-network with Aetna and are actively contracting with other major insurance payers. Our website will be routinely updated to reflect the current network status.
